Course Overview

Want to get a head start in business without committing to a three-year degree? An Associate Degree in Business with SCU College can help you take the steps to a new career.

This course will give you the grounding you need in business language and organisational communication, accounting, marketing and business ethics and sustainability, as well as options to specialise in your area of interest, from human resource management to digital marketing.

Graduates are guaranteed entry and up to two years of credit towards a Southern Cross Bachelor degree in accounting, business, digital business, information technology, convention and event management or tourism and hospitality management.

The course covers a broad range of business topics such as business language and organisational communication through to accounting, marketing principles, statistics, economic theory and human resources. Students can also elect to focus on an area of interest for part of the course including accounting, business, tourism or digital business.

International applicants for admission to candidature to the Associate Degree of Business or the Diploma of Business must have an assessable entry qualification from a country where English is the main language and where the medium of instruction for that qualification was English, or have completed an International English Language Test (or equivalent) with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and a minimum score of 5.0 in each subtest (or equivalent).
