The Graduate Certificate in International Tourism and Hotel Management will prepare you with the foundational knowledge you need to understand the business operational needs, systems and theories of the tourism and hospitality sector.
This degree will open a door to undertaking further postgraduate study, while engaging you with the tourism and hospitality industry at a more serious level. You will study alongside students from around the world with diverse cultures and learn from experts in their field.
The Graduate Certificate in International Tourism and Hotel Management is a pathway award. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate are awarded credit towards the Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management.
Course Details
Students complete a core unit in management communication and choose three electives from units covering tourism planning, entrepreneurship, tourism and hospitality management, international tourism systems and contemporary issues in the sector.
Topics covered in the Graduate Certificate provide students with a foundational understanding of the study of tourism and hotel operational and management issues relating to planning, sustainability, and social responsibility, as well as applied business and management skills.
