Music courses are suited to performers and non-performers alike. Students may choose programs with more of an emphasis on songwriting or performing or music production, depending on their aptitudes. Courses are hands-on, with time in the studio and on collaborative music-making activities. Projects may be individual, in small groups or large ensembles. Students are encouraged to be creative, as they explore a rich diversity of genres, styles and sounds.
If you choose a performance or songwriting program, you will write, workshop, perform, produce and record your own music. If you are in a music production stream, you will be using equipment and software, and learning the technical skills required to bring a song from paper to commercialisation.
