Motor Mechanic

About the role

At SNM CARE PTY LTD (Kenwick Auto Repair & Tyre Care), we are looking for a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Kenwick, Western Australia. You will be a motivated professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, reliable vehicle repairs and excellent customer service.

What you'll do

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using computerised diagnostic equipment
• Repair and replace faulty engine, transmission, suspension, steering and braking system components
• Perform engine tuning and preventative maintenance
• Conduct road tests to identify and verify vehicle performance issues
• Inspect vehicles and ensure repairs comply with Australian safety standards
• Maintain accurate service records and complete repair documentation
• Complete all work efficiently while following workplace health and safety procedures
• Keep the workshop clean and organised, and maintain tools and equipment

About you

• A relevant qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Current Australian driver's licence (preferred)
