TT68 Holdings Pty Ltd trading as Timber Flooring Crew is a specialist timber flooring contractor servicing residential and commercial projects throughout Victoria. We provide professional timber flooring preparation, sanding, finishing, polishing, staining and restoration services. Due to continued business growth and an increasing number of residential and commercial projects, we are seeking an experienced Floor Finisher to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
Preparing timber flooring surfaces for sanding, finishing and coating.
Sanding and preparing timber floors using specialised floor sanding and polishing machinery.
Staining, sealing and polishing timber floors to achieve the required finish.
Applying paints, stains, lacquers, oils, varnishes, sealers and other protective coatings.
Restoring and refinishing damaged, worn or aged timber flooring.
Measuring, inspecting and preparing flooring surfaces before and after finishing.
Working from plans, specifications and client requirements to achieve the required finish.
Inspecting completed flooring work to ensure quality and finishing standards are met.
Cleaning and maintaining flooring tools, machinery and equipment.
Following workplace health and safety requirements and maintaining safe work practices.
Essential requirements
Relevant trade qualification and/or relevant industry experience in floor finishing.
Demonstrated experience in timber floor sanding, staining, sealing, polishing and coating application.
Ability to safely operate floor sanding, polishing and finishing machinery.
Ability to work from plans, specifications and client requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to undertake physically demanding flooring work, including prolonged standing, bending and kneeling.
