Tyre Fitter

About the role

We're looking for a Tyre Fitter to join our team at Tyrepower Cairns. You'll work in a busy workshop, fitting, balancing and repairing tyres across a range of vehicles. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in doing the job properly and work well in a team, we'd like to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Remove, fit, rotate and repair tyres
• Inspect tyres for wear and damage
• Balance wheels and check tyre pressures
• Look after workshop tools and equipment
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe
• Work with the team to get jobs completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Provide friendly service and take care of customers' vehicles

About you

• At least one year of experience as a tyre fitter or in a similar hands-on automotive role
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, and takes pride in their work
• A positive attitude and a willingness to help the team
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• A commitment to working safely and learning new skills
