About the role

You’ll be working as part of a close-knit kitchen team, preparing and cooking a busy Asian menu while maintaining consistent food quality and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the chef with food preparation and cooking in the wok area.
• Helping with daily preparation, keeping the kitchen organised, and ensuring ingredients and supplies are well stocked.
• Following food safety and kitchen hygiene standards at all times.
• Working closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service, even on the busiest nights.

About you

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential. We are happy to train the right candidate.
• A basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Available to work approximately 20–30 hours per week.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must have correct visa to work in Australia
