About the role
Small Doses Cafe is looking for an experienced shop manager to help grow our business. This is a unique opportunity in an area where building community connection and customer loyalty is significant. The role is full-time, based in St Leonards, and we are looking for 2-3 years of experience.
What you'll do
- Determine menu offerings, stock levels and customer service standards
- Develop and implement purchasing, promotional and marketing strategies, including menu pricing
- Promote the cafe's food, beverages and services to attract customers and increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, supplier orders and sales
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditure and oversee the business's financial performance
- Recruit, train, supervise and support staff to ensure efficient cafe operations and high service standards
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety regulations and relevant hospitality standards
